Experience The ‘Frontline’ Through My Eyes: Raw Footage From Afghanistan

Afghanistan War

Footage I recorded from my body armour camera while serving as a combat medic during Operation Moshtarak in Afghanistan in 2010 has now been accepted into the Imperial War Museums collection.

The archive includes extensive first-hand footage and photographs recorded during the operation, providing a soldier’s view of events as they happened.

I use selected footage from Afghanistan during this presentation, giving audiences the opportunity to see the experience from my perspective on the ground.

The original material will now form part of the Imperial War Museums archive for future generations.

This presentation is one-in-a million.

A story that encapsulates the grit and humanity of life under fire.

This needs to be part of wider teaching e.g. where a PTSD case is presented. Very interesting to hear a completely different side to mental health; very charismatic and engaging presenter
